11 things to do in dubai in december 2017 -

Whether it’s under the tallest building in the world, or on some of the most lounges on the roof, or in the middle of the desert, there are many ways to watch the midnight strike in Dubai. December is almost here … Dubai has a lot in store for its residents and visitors during the last month of the year.

You can choose from the best parties in the city, where you can head to Atlantis, the Palm for a sparkling concert or go to one of the city’s most recent sites, such as Burj Khalifa or La Mer, to watch the stunning fireworks like never seen before.

Cycle safe Dubai Course was created as a way to get cyclists off the couch and back to their bikes. With a training team on Friday morning and a legendary coffee ride on Saturday morning. Being part of a safe Dubai course not only keeps you healthy and fit, but includes you in a community of like minded people.

2. Festive celebrations at Fort Island – Dec 15 to 27

The city of Jumeirah will welcome its annual celebration market from December 15 to 27. The 1,750 square meter winter wonderland will feature a German-style ceremonial market, horseback riding on a passing boat with Santa, dozens of slides, games, the North Pole train, and the giant snowball area. The new this year will be the twinkling interactive LED Christmas tree and the daily appearances of Santa himself… from 5:00pm and 7:00pm.

3. Family Fun Day – Dec 15

For some free family fun, we won’t look at this year’s annual event – rather we will have a great family fun day at Zabeel Park on Dec 15th. This day is exciting and is being held to raise awareness and help integrate children with special care & needs here in the U.A.E. In the event, there will be bouncy castle, cinema, photography corner, there will also be activities for a few of them and adults alike, including face painting, yoga, football, arts and crafts.

4. Dec date TBC: Flying through the Marina

The people who brought you this Zeppelin epic on the Dubai fountain, they come back with the brand new feat “for all the adrenaline tricks in Dubai to try The line is described as the world’s longest line, the line height is 170 meters in the launch platform, and runs directly across the marina, ending at the address Next to the Marina Mall. It starts at the top of the tower at Promenade Marina, so you’ll basically launch off of a skyscraper.

5. Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs in Ductac – Dec 14-23

The timeless classic is brought into life in Ductac this Dec. Which will be performed by a team of professional actors, an artistic crew from the United Kingdom and a young chorus group, this short fairy tales production will be appreciated by your little ones as well as the young children. There will be Expect of a mix music and dance as we see Snow White will be looking for her charming prince.

6. Music in the Marina – Dec 14-23

This year the theme of the Dubai Marina Music Festival (DMMF) gonna be “The Art of Sound”. It will transform Dubai Marina Park into a series of revitalizations and facilities that explore all senses as well as host artists, musicians, food stalls and a pop-up market.

7. Dubai Shopping Festival – Dec 26 to Jan 27

Deal hunters, get ready. The Dubai Shopping Festival, known as DSF, is the sale you were waiting for. From 26 December to 27 January 2018, shopping centers, markets, retail outlets and shopping centers began to promote, with prices falling by up to 90%. From great discounts to amazing offers, contests and prizes, residents and visitors alike have multiple opportunities to get their hands on styles and fashions, electronics, toys, furniture, vehicles, jewelry and even food offerings. 8. La Perle Aqua acrobatics
