Tips for activities in Dubai at night
Thursday ends in Dubai, the work week, that is, Thursday night and Friday night there is really something going on at night. Most clubs and bars are located in Dubai hotels, but that does not stop famous DJs and entertainers from performing there. Alcohol is allowed from the age of 21, so bring your passport with you. And never drive when you have had a drink. Not even just a glass. Better play it safe and take a taxi.
1) Apartment Lounge
You would like to really enjoy the dance floor? Or are you hoping for a cocktail in peace in an exclusive club? Apartment Lounge fulfills both wishes. Depending on which evening you come, you can experience everything from house to the music of the 80s and hip-hop to rock music. The dress code is smart casual, which is more elegant than casual.

This establishment is a hit with jetset guests year-round, especially as there are a lot of aviation personnel to be found there. The decor is minimalist, close to brutalism, yet the atmosphere is informal and friendly. House and techno are played, all pretty mainstream, if you’re looking for something funky like Captain Beefheart, you’ll be disappointed. It is a good place to relax after a day of sightseeing.

The Kasbar has a more traditional feel, with Arabian décor and galleries overlooking the dance floor below. The music can be quite authentic, Arabic pop mixed with club and techno. The Kasbar is popular with locals and tourists alike, with the best DJs in the area stopping there.

4) The Roof Top
Do not worry, if you have forgotten your dance shoes or you prefer not to swing your leg: there is still a lot going on after sunset in Dubai.Head into the One & Only Royal Mirage Hotel and head to the under-the-roof bar to enjoy a cocktail or two and watch the city below. Enjoy a balmy evening with the soothing sounds of a DJ or an unplugged playing band.

5) The Irish Lounge
Betting, you did not expect that. An Irish pub in the middle of Dubai, with beer garden and own green area. There is traditional Irish pub food and beer at a reasonable price. Many British immigrants come there to enjoy a homely atmosphere.

6) Bahri Bar
This bar is probably in every travel guide, but it’s worth a visit. The view is incomparable. Come as early as possible to get a seat on the porch and enjoy the sunset from there. Struggle at sunset and then look at the lights of the Burj Al Arab. Really stunning.
